Job summary

Novotel & Ibis Rotorua Lakeside is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations across Rooms, F&B, Front Office, Housekeeping, Reservations and Engineering in Rotorua, New Zealand.

The role requires senior operational responsibility, strong leadership, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays. Accor’s Heartist program and staff benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in hotel operations or multi-department management roles.
• Strong leadership and people management across departments.
• Operational experience in rooms and food & beverage.

Responsibilities

• Drive hotel-wide operational performance across multiple departments.
• Ensure consistent guest services and accommodation standards.
• Monitor performance and assist in achieving budgeted targets.
• Contribute to revenue management and room allocation oversight.
• Collaborate with F&B on service standards and cost control.
• Oversee Front Office and Reservations for accurate billing and guest service.
