Novotel Queenstown Lakeside is seeking an experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to support our housekeeping operations and help deliver an exceptional guest experience. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, you will assist in managing the department, supervise staff, and act as Department Manager in their absence.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years' relevant hotel/hospitality experience.
• Demonstrated experience supervising and coordinating housekeeping teams.
• Strong knowledge of hotel housekeeping operations, rostering, stock control and inventory.

Aufgaben

• Oversee and coordinate daily Housekeeping operations and supervise housekeeping team members.
• Allocate duties and assist with staff rostering and workforce planning.
• Conduct room and public-area inspections to maintain cleanliness and service standards.
• Manage housekeeping supplies, equipment, linen, stock and inventory.
• Assist with purchasing, budgets and cost control.
• Supervise, train, coach and support housekeeping team members.
• Assist with recruitment, induction and performance management.
• Manage contractors and suppliers as required.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety and hotel policies.
• Liaise with other hotel departments to support smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Act as Department Manager in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper.
• Prepare departmental reports and support continuous improvement of housekeeping operations.
