Job summary

• NZ citizen or resident with at least 3 years' full-time excavator operator experience on commercial or civil projects.
• Ability to pass police check and drug test.
• Valid driver license, class 2 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position plant for operation.
• Attach and remove attachments for excavation work.
• Operate controls to excavate, level, move and load earth and rock.
• Monitor plant operation and safety of workers; adjust controls as needed.
• Perform servicing, lubrication, cleaning, and refuelling of plant.
• May travel to different project sites as required.
