Job summary

Franklin Smith is seeking multiple experienced Excavator Operators to perform earthmoving duties across various NZ projects. Successful candidates will operate excavators, prepare equipment, and adhere to safety policies while delivering quality results.

The role requires at least 3 years of excavator operator experience on commercial or civil projects, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel to multiple regions around New Zealand.

Qualifications

• NZ citizen or resident with at least 3 years full-time excavator operator experience on commercial or civil projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position plant for operation.
• Operate excavator to excavate, break, level, and move earth, rock, and debris.
• Select, fit and remove attachments such as buckets and hammers.
• Monitor plant operation and adjust controls for safety and efficiency.
• Travel to different regions for projects as required.
