Job summary

Fullers360’s Waiheke Bus Company seeks an Events & Charters Executive to manage bookings from enquiry to delivery for island clients. You will coordinate with Operations to create practical transport plans and build itineraries for tours, weddings, and private transfers.

You’ll develop relationships with venues, hotels, tourism operators, planners, and local businesses to position Waiheke Bus Company as the preferred transport provider for events and group movements on Waiheke Island.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in tourism, events, hospitality, transport, customer service, sales or operations.
• Good knowledge of Waiheke and the businesses and venues that make the island unique.
• Excellent organization, planning and attention to detail.
• Commercial awareness and confidence identifying new business opportunities.
• Confidence working directly with clients and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Be the main point of contact for Waiheke charter and group clients, taking bookings from initial enquiry or handover through planning, confirmation, service delivery and follow-up.
• Work closely with our Operations team to turn customer requirements into transport plans that are practical, safe and achievable.
• Coordinate corporate groups visiting the island, plan transport for weddings or events, organise private transfers, build itineraries for tour groups or arrange ferry connections.
• Develop external relationships with venues, accommodation providers, tourism operators, wedding and event planners and other local businesses, helping position Waiheke Bus Company as the preferred transport provider for events, tours and group movements on the island.
