Job summary

Tātaki Auckland Unlimited's Events team is seeking an Event Facilitator to support Auckland's vibrant events landscape, from community celebrations to large activations, by ensuring events are safe, compliant, and successful.

You’ll manage event permitting, coordinate with community, private, and commercial organisers, and work with council colleagues and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in events or customer-focused roles.
• Full and clean driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and facilitate event permitting in line with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with community, private, and commercial organisers to deliver exceptional experiences.
• Process event applications and funding for public spaces; monitor regulatory compliance.
