Job summary
HEB Construction is seeking an Environmental Advisor for a 12-month fixed-term parental leave cover, delivering environmental management across infrastructure projects in New Zealand. You will advise project teams, develop plans, perform audits and support regulatory compliance while promoting best practices.
Ideal candidates have 2+ years in construction environmental roles, strong NZ legislation knowledge, and excellent communication with stakeholders and teams.
Qualifications
- 2+ years' environmental advisory experience in construction.
- Knowledge of NZ environmental legislation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Organised with attention to detail and collaborative mindset.
Responsibilities
- Support project teams to meet environmental and compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain Environmental Management Plans and docs.
- Conduct monitoring, inspections and compliance audits.
- Investigate incidents and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide environmental input into planning and delivery.
- Deliver training and promote best practice across projects.
