Job summary

Stellar Recruitment AU and NZ is assisting a well-established engineering company in Nelson to recruit an experienced Tradesperson, ideally a trade-qualified Fabricator Welder or Fitter/Turner. The role involves general engineering and fabrication work, reading technical drawings, and on-site tasks when required.

This is a full-time, workshop-based position with a friendly, experienced team in a well-equipped facility.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Heavy Fabrication, Fitting & Turning is required.
• Experience in a general engineering or fabrication workshop.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team.

We are working with a well-established engineering company based in Nelson looking to add an experienced Tradesperson to their team. Ideally, you will be a trade-qualified Fabricator Welder or Fitter/Turner, with strong practical skills and a solid work ethic. What We’re Looking For:

• Trade qualification in Heavy Fabrication, Fitting & Turning, or similar
• Heavy Transport Engineering background would an advantage
• Experience in a general engineering or fabrication workshop
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
