Job summary

Palmerston North Engineering Ltd. is seeking a skilled Tradesperson to join our workshop team in Palmerston North. The role involves general engineering and fabrication, reading technical drawings, and assembling components to high quality standards.

Job description

We are working with a well-established engineering company based in Palmerston North looking to add an experienced Tradesperson to their team. Ideally, you will be a trade-qualified Fabricator Welder or Fitter/Turner, with strong practical skills and a solid work ethic.

What We’re Looking For:

• Trade qualification in Heavy Fabrication, Fitting & Turning, or similar
• Heavy Transport Engineering background would an advantage
• Experience in a general engineering or fabrication workshop
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawingsStrong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
