Gallagher Group Limited is seeking a Software Engineering Lead to strengthen technical leadership within the Platform Portfolio in Hamilton. You will guide hands-on engineering, build high-performing teams, and drive delivery of secure, scalable, high‑quality solutions across our global footprint.

You’ll partner with Product, UX/UI Design, Architecture, Platform, DevOps and Security to shape technical direction, mentor engineers, and advance modern engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading full‑stack teams.
• Ability to guide design, architecture, delivery and quality.
• Experience mentoring engineers and setting career development.
• Strong collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Curiosity about automation and modern engineering trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead an engineering discipline across design, architecture, delivery and lifecycle considerations.
• Coach teams with clear expectations, feedback and development planning.
• Partner closely with Product, UX/UI Design, Architecture, Platform, DevOps and Security to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Help teams balance delivery with quality, risk, cost and compliance considerations.
• Champion continuous improvement, automation, standards and team effectiveness.
