Job summary

A.S Wilcox in New Zealand is seeking an experienced Engineer who enjoys variety, solving problems and keeping machinery moving. You’ll repair harvesters in the field and troubleshoot packhouse equipment, applying practical, hands-on skills in a fast-paced operation.

Like fixing complex machinery and solving problems that matter?

We’re looking for an experienced Engineer who enjoys variety, solving problems and keeping machinery moving. One day you could be repairing a potato harvester in the field, the next troubleshooting automated packhouse equipment. If you’re someone who enjoys variety and solving real world problems, you’ll never be stuck doing the same thing every day.

You’ll be part of a practical, values-driven team that values integrity, reliability, teamwork and a good sense of humour, with the opportunity to use your skills across a diverse range of machinery and make a real difference to the performance of our operations.

You’ll work on:

• A wide range of harvesters and agricultural machinery
• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems

We’re looking for someone who is practical, mechanically minded and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.

Must have:

• A strong safety focus and the ability to work independently while also being a team player.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with agricultural machinery.
• Experience working with production or processing machinery, ideally in a packhouse, manufacturing or similar operational environment.
• A good understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
