Job summary

Sharesies seeks an Engagement Lead to drive community-led engagement and education initiatives, representing the company at rural events and roadshows while building trust-based relationships with farming communities. The role is based in Auckland or Wellington, with extensive travel to regional areas.

You will develop content, speak publicly, and facilitate events, translating customer insights into actionable feedback for product and engineering teams.

We've had an exciting fixed term (12 months) opportunity open up an Engagement Lead supporting our rural initiatives! You'll be responsible for building community-led engagement and education programmes, representing Sharesies at rural events and roadshows, and building trust-based relationships across farming communities. This role is located in our Auckland or Wellington office, but you'll be out on the road travelling to our regions a lot of the time. We're looking for people who love the idea of working in a dynamic, innovative environment and who are as excited about our vision as we are. For this Engagement Lead role we are specifically looking for someone who:

• brings experience in community engagement, B2B relationship management, or field marketing
• has exceptional content creation, public speaking, and event facilitation capabilities
• can translate customer insights into actionable feedback for product and engineering teams
• is comfortable travelling to rural communities to engage face to face and develop strong relationships
• is adaptable to change, and is motivated by our vision and purpose
