Job summary

Sharesies is seeking an Engagement Lead to support rural initiatives. This fixed-term 12-month role sits in Auckland or Wellington, with frequent travel to regional communities.

You will build community-led engagement and education programmes, represent Sharesies at rural events and roadshows, and develop trust-based relationships across farming communities to support our mission of financial empowerment.

You'll be responsible for building community-led engagement and education programmes, representing Sharesies at rural events and roadshows, and building trust-based relationships across farming communities. This role is located in our Auckland or Wellington office, but you'll be out on the road travelling to our regions a lot of the time. We're looking for people who love the idea of working in a dynamic, innovative environment and who are as excited about our vision as we are. For this Engagement Lead role we are specifically looking for someone who:

• brings experience in community engagement, B2B relationship management, or field marketing
• has exceptional content creation, public speaking, and event facilitation capabilities
• can translate customer insights into actionable feedback for product and engineering teams
• is comfortable travelling to rural communities to engage face to face and develop strong relationships
• is adaptable to change, and is motivated by our vision and purpose
