NZCL is seeking a part-time Support Worker in Gisborne to support Rangitahi and Tamariki and their families, helping them lead a valued life on their own terms. Initial hours start at 2 per week with potential to increase over time.

Responsibilities include practical support such as shopping, meal planning, laundry, light cleaning, and community participation while fostering self-determination and independence.

• Empathy, respect and cultural awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate the family's journey toward a valued life of their choosing.
• Support rangitahi to go to school or access education.
• Observe health concerns and support overall health and wellbeing.
• Support rangitahi/young people to work towards and achieve their goals.
• Tailor supports to the family's unique needs and goals with a holistic approach.
• Provide simple, flexible supports for daily living.
