Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a nurturing Childcare Program Coordinator to manage and enhance childcare services for our Queenstown-based client. You will plan curriculum, supervise staff, engage with families, and ensure safety and licensing standards are met to support high-quality early childhood development programs.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, minimum 3 years of program management experience, and First Aid/CPR certification, with strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of childcare program management or supervision experience.
• Strong knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in staff management, training, and performance evaluation.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of childcare programs, ensuring safety and educational standards.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote children's development.
• Recruit, train, and supervise childcare staff, providing ongoing support and professional development.
• Manage parent communication, conduct regular meetings, and foster strong home-school partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, licensing, and health and safety protocols.
• Manage program budgets, supplies, and resources effectively to ensure optimal service delivery.
