Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a compassionate and organized Project Manager to lead community health programs in Queenstown, New Zealand. You will coordinate with healthcare professionals, community leaders and non-profit partners to plan, implement and evaluate initiatives that improve health outcomes and access to care.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in project management within public health or community development, with strong leadership and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in project management, with a focus on public health or community development programs.
• Experience managing healthcare initiatives or non-profit programs.
• Strong understanding of public health in rural or underserved communities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and reporting tools.
• A relevant degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Social Work, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage community health programs from inception to completion.
• Coordinate activities with healthcare providers, local clinics, and community outreach teams.
• Manage program budgets, track expenditures, and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Conduct needs assessments and evaluate program effectiveness, making data‑driven adjustments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, government agencies, and funding partners.
• Ensure all program activities comply with relevant health regulations and ethical standards.
