Job summary

Brunswick is seeking a Software Quality Tester II within the Product Development and Engineering team to assure the quality of embedded software and hardware for Linux- and Android-based products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or validation.
• Experience with software and hardware validation.
• Comfortable working in Linux command-line environments.
• Familiarity with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn and develop new skills.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and specifications to develop effective test coverage.
• Design, execute, and maintain test cases.
• Validate software releases on embedded Linux and Android platforms.
• Verify hardware, peripherals, and system functionality during bring-up and development.
• Develop and maintain test automation solutions.
• Identify, document, and analyse defects, partnering with engineering teams to drive resolution.
