Job summary

CanRecruit is seeking an Assembly Technician for EV charger manufacturing in New Zealand. You will assemble charging units, follow detailed instructions, and work in a clean, modern facility with a supportive team.

We offer Monday–Friday shifts with flexible starts (7:00–8:00am), consistent 8-hour days, on‑the‑job training, and a starting rate of NZD 26 per hour paid weekly. Right to work in NZ required; pre‑employment drug test may be needed.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience (preferred but not essential).
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Reliability and punctuality.

Assembly Technician - EV Charger Manufacturing

About the Role

We're looking for reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Technicians to join our clients production team. You'll be involved in assembling high-quality EV chargers, working in a clean, modern environment with a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble EV charging units and components to specification
• Follow technical instructions and quality standards
• Perform basic testing and quality checks
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace
• Work collaboratively to meet daily production targets
