Job summary

JLE Holdings Ltd is seeking a trade-qualified electrician for an Auckland-based role focusing on industrial plant maintenance and servicing. You will diagnose faults, perform testing and commissioning, and work across electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Qualifications

About the Role

If you’re a trade-qualified electrician who likes work that keeps you thinking, the Auckland team at JLE is where you want to be.

This is a hands-on electrical role focused primarily on industrial plant maintenance and servicing across a range of clients in the Auckland region. You’ll be working on electrical systems in industrial environments — diagnosing faults, carrying out maintenance, testing and commissioning, and ensuring everything meets spec and compliance requirements.

The work is varied and technically interesting. You won’t be pulling cable in new builds all day — you’ll be using your full skill set across complex industrial systems with a team that takes quality seriously.

You’ll report to the Auckland Operations Manager, and you’ll have the opportunity to support and mentor apprentices as part of the wider team.

What You’ll Be Doing

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in industrial and/or infrastructure sectors — plant maintenance background preferred
• Solid fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Proven ability to fault-find efficiently on industrial plant and equipment, minimising downtime for clients
• Confident reading drawings and technical documentation
• Strong safety awareness and a commitment to doing things right
• A team player who communicates well and takes pride in quality workmanship
• Must have the right to work in New Zealand
