Job summary

2XM seeks a motivated Electrician for a stable career in Industrial Maintenance at a high-tech facility in Drury, Auckland. Move from construction into preventative and reactive maintenance with full training provided.

You will perform fault finding, diagnostics and report using CMMS and MS Office. Training includes PLC troubleshooting and rolling roster with early/late shifts. A strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• NZ EWRB Practicing License required.
• Full NZ Driver’s License.
• Strong communication skills, especially during breakdowns.
• Safety First mindset; follow OH&S procedures.
• Passport for Melbourne-based training is required or able to obtain.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on industrial machinery.
• Fault finding and diagnostics on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Build relationships with onsite customers and stakeholders.
• Digital reporting via CMMS and Microsoft Office.
• Develop PLC troubleshooting skills.

Our client is a provider of Mechanical and Electrical maintenance services to automation equipment installed in medium and large fulfillment centres.
The great thing about this role, you DON'T need previous automation experience! They provide all the training!

About the Role

Join a leading maintenance team in Drury. You will move away from commercial installs and move into the world of preventative and reactive maintenance within a high-tech industrial facility.

Your day-to-day will include:

Skills & Experience Required

We are looking for a great attitude and solid electrical fundamentals.

• Current NZ EWRB Practicing License (Essential).
• Full NZ Driver’s License.
• Strong communication skills—you’re comfortable talking to clients during a breakdown.
• A "Safety First" mindset and willingness to follow OH&S procedures.
• A valid Passport (or ability to get one) for Melbourne-based training.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and functional assessment.
