Job summary

Stellar Recruitment Pty is seeking an experienced Electrician to work across Queenstown and Central Otago, delivering electrical solutions for HVAC and mechanical systems. This full-time role offers site-based work across the Queenstown Lakes region with temp-to-perm opportunities for the right candidate.

You will install, maintain and fault-find electrical systems on commercial and industrial projects, reading plans and coordinating with clients and site teams.

Qualifications

• NZ qualified electrician or near qualified.
• EWRB license or close to obtaining registration.
• HVAC electrical experience preferred.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Full Class 1 Driver Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems for HVAC and mechanical plant.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults.
• Complete maintenance and service work.
• Read and interpret plans and schematics.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and site teams.
• Ensure compliance with NZ electrical standards.
• Support commissioning and testing activities.

About the Role

Working as part of an experienced mechanical services team, you'll carry out electrical installation, maintenance, fault-finding, and commissioning work across a variety of commercial and industrial projects. This is a hands-on role offering a mix of site-based work throughout the Queenstown Lakes region.
