Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand is seeking a Registered Electrician to join the Dunedin Hospital electrical team. The role focuses on keeping the hospital warm, safe, and compliant, and ensuring reliable operation of essential systems.

You will perform electrical maintenance, support critical life-saving equipment, and contribute to energy reduction initiatives as the organisation moves toward a carbon-zero future.

Competenze

• Current EWRB electrical registration and practicing license.
• Experience as an electrician in a commercial environment.
• Previous experience in a healthcare environment would be beneficial.
• Positive, can-do attitude.

Mansioni

• Carry out electrical maintenance tasks across the hospital facilities.

About the Role

We have a great opportunity for a Registered Electrician to join our electrical team located at Dunedin Hospital. Our electrical team are the people that keep the hospital running.

Keeping it warm, safe, and compliant.

You’ll be responsible for carrying out various aspects of electrical maintenance, including maintaining critical life‑saving equipment, as well as supporting energy reduction projects as we move towards a carbon zero future.

About you

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Current EWRB electrical registration and practicing license
• Experience as an electrician in a commercial environment
