Job summary

Kirimana Consultants is seeking skilled Electricians to join our team on a range of exciting projects across Otago. We have multiple positions available for reliable, safety-conscious, and hardworking individuals to work alongside our experienced tradesmen.

Successful candidates will have at least 2 years’ experience or a trade qualification in electrical installation, repairs, or maintenance, and be able to provide references.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel between regions and adapt to project needs.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture brackets based on engineering direction, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and legislation
• Fabricate and install cable trays and supports as needed
• Install cables in accordance with good electrical practices
• Install equipment following engineering best practice
• Work under supervisor guidance to meet time, cost, and quality requirements
• Monitor work progress and report delays or issues to the Leading Hand or Supervisor
• Perform other related tasks as reasonably required

We are looking for candidates with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes. You’ll need to communicate effectively with your supervisor, take ownership of your responsibilities, and contribute positively to the team environment.

Minimum Experience Required:

At least 2 years’ experience or a trade qualification (or higher) in a similar role involving electrical installation, repairs, or maintenance. You must be able to provide references to support your work history.

• Hourly rate: $33-43 (waged)
• Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week, up to 50 hours depending on the project stage
• Workdays: Monday to Saturday

Locations: Roles available across Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay, Wellington, Manawatu/Horowhenua, Canterbury, Otago, Marlborough, Tasman and West Coast.

For those willing to travel between regions, accommodation and other allowances will be provided.
