Job summary

INTEC Energy Solutions seeks an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead site construction for a major utility-scale solar project north of Auckland. You will manage electrical delivery, coordinate subcontractors and ensure safety, quality and schedule alignment with project requirements. NZ registration and HV/solar knowledge are essential.

This is a hands-on leadership role on a large infrastructure project with opportunities to influence commissioning and handover.

About The Role

INTEC Energy Solutions is a global EPC and O&M business delivering utility-scale renewable energy projects across solar PV, BESS and high-voltage infrastructure.

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our project team delivering a major utility-scale solar farm north of Auckland.

This is a site-based leadership role responsible for overseeing electrical construction activities, coordinating subcontractors and site resources, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Leading electrical construction and site delivery


• Manage electrical subcontractors and site crews


• Oversee PV, AC, HV and electrical installation works


• Coordinate testing, commissioning and energisation


• Drive safety, quality, programme and project outcomes

About You

We are looking for an experienced electrical construction professional who is comfortable taking ownership of electrical delivery on a large infrastructure or renewable energy project.

• Experienced in electrical construction leadership


• Renewable energy or major infrastructure experience


• Strong subcontractor and site management skills


• NZ electrical registration and practising licence


• Knowledge of HV systems, solar and NZ electrical standards

Experience with SCADA, protection systems, control systems and EPC-delivered solar projects in New Zealand will be highly regarded.
