Job summary

Stellar Recruitment is seeking an electrician for a major solar project in Taupō, New Zealand. You will install solar PV systems, run DC/AC cabling, fit trays and switchgear, and ensure safe, compliant commissioning.

Qualifications

• EWRB Full Licence is required.
• Site Safe certification required.
• Experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Full Class 1 driver’s licence required.

Responsibilities

• Install solar PV electrical systems.
• Run and terminate DC and AC cabling.
• Fit cable trays, conduits, and switchgear.
• Test and commission electrical equipment.
• Read and follow electrical drawings.
• Complete work to NZ standards.
• Identify and rectify faults.
• Maintain site safety compliance.

About the Role:

Join a major project in Taupō, installing and commissioning electrical infrastructure that will help power New Zealand's renewable future. You'll work alongside project supervisors, other electricians, and construction teams to deliver high-quality electrical installations safely and efficiently.
