Job summary

INTEC Energy Solutions in Christchurch is seeking an Electrical Procurement Specialist to join our Christchurch team. You will lead procurement for electrical materials, equipment and installation across tenders and projects, guiding pricing strategies from early tender phase through construction.

You bring 3-5+ years in electrical estimating, procurement or commercial delivery, with deep knowledge of LV/MV/HV materials and experience pricing for large-scale infrastructure or renewables.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical estimating, tendering, procurement or commercial delivery for major infrastructure
• Strong understanding of LV/MV/HV materials and installation methodologies
• Experience pricing or procuring electrical works for large-scale infrastructure or renewables
• Ability to interpret drawings/specs/scopes of work into pricing
• Strong commercial and supplier management skills with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Support tendering by developing, validating and benchmarking pricing for electrical works
• Prepare RFQs and tender packages for LV/MV/HV equipment and installation
• Evaluate supplier tenders against technical and commercial requirements
• Negotiate pricing and delivery terms to secure best-value outcomes
• Collaborate with Engineering, Commercial and Project teams to develop procurement strategies
