Ventia in Hamilton seeks two experienced Electrical Design Estimators to join our Electricity & Gas team. You will combine technical electrical design with commercial insight to deliver competitive project estimates across power infrastructure projects.

As an Electrical Design Estimator, you will prepare accurate estimates, tenders and quotations; develop practical electrical designs; review drawings and contract documents; and support project delivery from planning to handover.

Qualificações

• 5 years' experience in electrical design, estimating, project delivery or related field.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and contracts.
• Commercial awareness and estimating experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Current Class 1 NZ Driver Licence.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare electrical estimates, tenders and quotations for power projects.
• Develop compliant and fit-for-purpose electrical designs.
• Review drawings, specifications and contract documentation.
• Identify project risks, opportunities and pricing methodologies.
• Support project planning, mobilisation and delivery activities; prepare design documentation, tender submissions and handover packs.
• Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and project teams.
