Job summary

EIS Ltd. is seeking an Electrical Estimator in Canterbury with strong industrial-site experience to translate hands-on electrical work into accurate project estimates.

You will work with Project Managers to scope, price, and deliver projects, while building relationships with clients and suppliers. You’ll contribute to continual improvement of estimating processes and grow toward more project-management responsibility in a Canterbury setting that blends outdoor recreation with serious industry

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified industrial electrician with hands-on site experience.
• Solid understanding of industrial project delivery and estimating processes.
• Experience with project coordination and client-facing aspects.

Responsibilities

• Price and prepare estimates for industrial electrical and automation projects.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, single-line diagrams, and electrical drawings.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to scope, price, and deliver projects successfully.
• Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Manage multiple tenders and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating systems and processes.
• Grow into greater project management responsibility over time.
