Job summary

KANDO Innovation in East Tamaki, North Island, is seeking a hands-on Electrical Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team and help build world-leading safety technology in Guardian bandsaws.

You will install electrical assemblies, prepare and route cables, fit mechanical components and sub-assemblies, and perform rigorous quality checks to ensure high workmanship standards. Training is provided and a supportive team environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification, EST, or similar experience.
• Experience working with electrical components and wiring.
• Comfortable using hand tools and workshop equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Reliable, honest, and safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Installing electrical assemblies into Guardian bandsaws.
• Preparing, modifying and routing cables.
• Installing mechanical components and assemblies.
• Assembling sub-components including bearing assemblies, braking systems and trigger mechanisms.

Utilising advanced computer vision technology, our machines can detect danger and stop a moving blade in milliseconds, helping prevent serious injuries before they occur.
