Job summary

Health NZ Counties Manukau is seeking a Nursing Clinical Coach to support ED staff with education and leadership at Middlemore Hospital. You will identify learning needs, provide one-to-one coaching, and mentor new graduates across Adult Assessment, MAU, SAU, and ED Short Stay.

The role requires NZ registration, at least 3 years in ED, and strong coaching and communication skills to promote best practices and high-quality patient care in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• New Zealand Registered Nurse.
• 3 years ED/acute experience.
• Trained Preceptor.
• Strong knowledge and expertise in ED - Acute Care / Medical / Surgical.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent coaching and teaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify learning needs and provide individual coaching for nursing staff.
• Mentor and preceptor for new graduate nurses across ED departments.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to implement evidence-based practices.
