Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau is seeking a Clinical Coach for our busy Emergency Department at Middlemore Hospital. You will support nursing staff, promote best practice, and drive high-quality patient care through coaching and mentorship of current and graduate nurses.

The role requires NZ Registered Nurse with APC, Proficient/Expert PDRP, and at least 3 years ED/acute experience; strong coaching and teaching skills are essential.

Qualifications

• New Zealand registered nurse with current APC and PDRP.
• Experience in ED/acute care; min 3 years.
• Trained preceptor with ability to coach nurses.

Responsabilités

• Identify learning needs and provide individual coaching.
• Mentor and precept new nurses and graduates.
• Collaborate with the care team to apply evidence-based practice.
• Provide clinical guidance across ED Adult Assessment, MAU, SAU, and related areas.
