Job summary

Makino Kindergarten in Feilding, New Zealand is seeking a permanent part-time teacher. The role supports wellbeing, belonging and outdoor-based learning in a warm, inclusive Enviroschool setting. Te reo Māori and NZ Sign Language are woven daily, and bicultural practice is valued.

Hours are 32 per week, 8:30am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a focus on planning, assessment and strong team collaboration.

Qualifications

• ECE qualification and teacher registration required.
• Current first aid certificate (including unit standards 6401, 6402) required.
• Proven ICT skills expected.
• Preferred applicant will demonstrate planning, assessment and self-review skills.

We are seeking a permanent part-time teacher to join our awesome team in the new year. Working hours are 32 per week, within the hours of 8:30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.

A relevant ECE qualification, teacher registration, current first aid certificate (including unit standards 6401, 6402) and proven ICT skills are a must. In addition, the preferred applicant will also demonstrate the following:
