The kindergarten is a full year, school-day model located in Heretaunga, south of Upper Hutt town centre. The families are predominately from the Heretaunga/Silverstream/Pinehaven area and are supportive of the kindergarten and the teaching team.

We are strong participants in the Enviroschools programme and we are currently working towards our Green Gold status - sustainability is an important part of our learning programme.

We enjoy close links with the local schools, which enrich children's learning journey.

We are licensed for 40 children who attend 6 or 7 hours each day. You will join our team of 3 other teachers.

Permanent part-time teacher 28 hours per week.

• Monday from 11:30am to 1:30pm.
• Tuesday from 8am to 4:30pm.
• Wednesday from 8am to 4:30pm.
• Thursday from 8am to 4:30pm.
• Friday from 11:30am to 1:30pm.

Monday, Wednesday and Thursday include 0.5 hrs unpaid lunch break.
