Job summary

Marshwood Montessori Preschool in Auckland seeks a passionate, registered Montessori teacher to join our tight-knit team. You will nurture and develop children aged 2 to 6 years in a warm, community-focused environment.

As part of a family-owned, small preschool with a maximum of 45 children, you will report to the centre manager and contribute to continuous program improvement. Montessori training and strong communication with families are essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate in early childhood education required.
• Montessori certification preferred, willingness to learn if not yet held.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Genuine passion for working with young children and commitment to quality education.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Montessori-based curriculum and lesson plans for early childhood education.
• Inspire a love of learning in young children through our creative teaching program.
• Observe and document each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.

Marshwood Montessori are in search of a passionate, registered, Montessori teacher who is eager to be part of our tight knit team and to share our journey to success, to grow and develop our children in our wonderful Glendowie community

We are a family owned, small preschool with a maximum role of 45, with a beautiful big natural backyard and playground, with two newly renovated classrooms. Children are at the forefront of our program and development. We invite all those who would like to part of this exciting journey to come and see us.

As a Montessori early childhood teacher, you will be responsible for continuing to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children aged 2 to 6 years old, reporting to the centre manager who will greatly assist in any development aspirations you have.Teacher registration renewal, first aid.
