Job summary
Worley is seeking a Discipline Manager for Electrical, Control & Instrumentation to provide strategic leadership, technical direction and people management across New Zealand. Based in Auckland or New Plymouth, you will shape capability and delivery across a diverse project portfolio.
You will mentor engineers, lead technical reviews, drive standards, and collaborate with customers to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions while advancing Worley’s position in the energy transition.
Qualifications
- Leadership experience of engineering teams.
- CPEng status and professional registration.
- Strong electrical, control and instrumentation expertise.
Responsibilities
- Lead a NZ-wide EC&I team of engineers and designers.
- Provide technical direction and governance across projects.
- Support resource planning, capability development and recruitment.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality, safety and regulatory standards.
- Drive engineering standards, procedures and technical excellence.
- Support project delivery with design reviews and problem solving.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for practical solutions.
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to secure opportunities.
- Identify innovation and continuous improvement within the discipline.
- Champion safety culture and sustainable engineering practices.
