Job summary

OJI Fibre Solutions Kinleith site in the Mighty Waikato is seeking an E&I Technician (Day Work) to join the Electrical and Instrumentation maintenance team. This hands-on role covers troubleshooting, maintenance and minor plant changes.

You will bring strong Electrical/Instrumentation capability, with at least 3 years in heavy manufacturing (pulp & paper preferred). Experience with DCS, PLCs, VSDs and SCADA is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have strong Electrical/Instrumentation capability.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in heavy manufacturing, pulp & paper preferred.
• Experience with DCS, PLC, VSDs, SCADA and engineering workstations.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, maintenance and minor plant changes.
• Industrial switchboard maintenance HV and LV.
• PLC and VSD maintenance, repair and replacement.
• Field instrumentation maintenance, including analytical systems.

E&I Technician (Day Work) Kinleith base.We are seeking a motivated person with a passion to help, to join our Electrical and Instrumentation maintenance team at the OJI Fibre Solutions Kinleith site in the Mighty Waikato. This is a hands-on role which includes Trouble shooting, Maintenance and configuration for minor plant changes.

To be considered:

• You will have a strong Electrical/Instrumentation capability
• minimum 3 years’ experience working in the heavy manufacturing industrial sector ideally in the pulp & paper industry
• working, with DCS, PLC’, VSD’s, SCADA and engineering workstations.
• You will have an electrician qualification and hold EWRB electrician registration
• You will hold IMC level 4 qualification or currently be working towards it.

Some of the Equipment, Systems and Tasks include

• Industrial switch board maintenance HV and LV
• PLC and Variable speed drive, maintenance, repair and replacement
• General electrical maintenance and fault finding
