Job summary

Four Square Methven is seeking a Duty Manager/Shop Assistant with retail or customer service experience to join our busy store in Methven. You will oversee the safe sale and supply of alcohol, ensure shop presentation and service standards, and support health and safety practices.

In this role you will lead a small team, deliver exceptional customer service, keep shelves full, and help create a welcoming, friendly shopping environment for locals and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safe sale & supply of alcohol and ensure compliance with health and safety and food safety programmes.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain shelves, contributing to a positive shopping experience.
• Lead the team with confidence and ensure consistent presentation and service standards.
• Work across a rotating schedule to cover Thursday through Monday shifts.

We are on the lookout for a Duty Manager to join the team at our busy Four Square Supermarket in Methven.

About the role

As a duty manager, you will oversee the safe sale & supply of alcohol at Four Square Methven. You will ensure shop presentation and customer service levels meet expected standards, and ensure Health and Safety and Food Safety Programmes are adhered to by all team members.

As a shop assistant, you will provide excellent customer service, ensure the shelves are full and be an all-round retail superstar.
