Job summary

Goode Brothers Sylvia Park is seeking a superstar Duty Manager to join our fast-paced Kiwi-Italian gastropub team. A current Duty Manager’s License and at least one year of relevant experience with up-to-date licensing knowledge are preferred to hit the ground running.

You’ll bring leadership, strong numbers skills, and a keen eye for detail to ensure consistent, high-quality service for our customers while guiding the team through responsible shifts.

Qualifications

• Current Duty Manager’s License required or must hold licencing qualifications.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Up-to-date knowledge of licensing regulations.
• Strong leadership and team-management abilities.
• Excellent numeracy and financial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise front-of-house operations during shifts.
• Ensure licensing compliance and regulatory standards are met.
• Coach and motivate staff to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
• Prioritise customer satisfaction and handle escalations professionally.
• Plan and coordinate team rosters to cover busy periods.

Goode Brothers Sylvia Park is on the hunt for a superstar Duty Manager; it’s a fast-paced gig with plenty of responsibility, so ideally, you’ll need a current Duty Manager’s License and at least one years’ experience in a similar role with up-to-date knowledge of licensing regulations to hit the ground running.
