Job summary

WM New Zealand is seeking a Driver to operate a hook truck and trailer in the Kapiti Region. You will deliver a safe, timely haulage service, keep accurate records, and perform vehicle safety checks.

You should have a valid Class 5 NZ Driver’s Licence, proven heavy vehicle experience, and a solid understanding of vehicle safety, maintenance and fatigue management. We offer permanent, full-time work with modern trucks and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 5 NZ Driver’s Licence.
• Proven heavy vehicle driving experience.
• Solid understanding of vehicle safety, maintenance and fatigue management.
• Strong attention to detail and good record keeping skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to carry out daily checks and maintenance.

• Operate a Hook truck and trailer and equipment to ensure a safe and timely haulage service in the Kapiti Region.
• Keep accurate records and paperwork.
