Job summary

Fliway Group in Palmerston North is seeking a Class 2 Driver to join our team. This full-time role involves delivering and collecting customer products safely, timely documentation, and supporting other team members as directed by management.

The role requires a clean HT license (Class 2) with DG endorsement preferred, physical ability to lift and move freight, and a reliable, team-focused attitude. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week.

Qualifications

• Hold a clean HT licence, minimum Class 2.
• DG certificate/endorsement is a preferred requirement.

Responsibilities

• Operating the vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Loading freight, driving, processing freight deliveries, completing paperwork and providing great customer service.
• Able to manage workload and meet deadlines.
• Assisting in unloading linehaul trucks daily.

Driver – Class 2, is responsible for delivering and picking up customer’s product in a safe way and ensuring the quality and security of the products within a designated area, and the completion of required scanning and documentation. You are also required to help other Fliway people in their jobs, when directed by Management or Supervisor.

• Full-Time position, Monday to Friday, between 6:00am and 2:30pm and 40 hour per week in Palmerston North

What you Bring:

• Hardworking, honest, and reliable
• Fit for work - lifting, pushing, pulling, movement of freight by hand and trolley is required.
• Flexible in your approach - a typical day may include loading freight, driving, processing freight deliveries, doing the paperwork and providing great customer services.
• Able to manage your workload and meet deadlines.
• Organised in processing your documentation and keeping your paperwork in order.
• Good team player, with initiative and ability to perform quality work in a safe manner.
• Hold a clean HT licence, minimum Class 2
• DG cert/endorsement is a preferred requirement
