Job summary

Fliway Group in Tauranga is seeking a casual Loader/Unloader to join our logistics team. You will load and unload freight between docks and trucks, maintaining safety, quality, and security of goods throughout the shift.

In this role you’ll wear provided PPE, keep areas tidy, and help ensure timely deliveries. We offer a supportive team culture focused on safety, reliability, and clear communication in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience handling freight, including fragile items.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Well organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy dock environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight from Linehaul vehicles and load local vehicles.
• Maintain clean and safe dock areas and depot floor.
• Wear and maintain PPE and represent Fliway professionally.
• Support safe loading/unloading processes and secure goods.

About the role: As the Loader and Unloader, you are responsible for loading and unloading freight between the dockway and the trucks in a safe manner and ensuring the quality and security of the products.

Key Responsibilities

• Wearing the correct uniform and PPE that is supplied for the tasks you are doing, and to take care of them and your appearance.
• Represent Fliway professionally.
• Unloading freight from ex Linehaul vehicle / load Linehaul.
• Loading local vehicles in preparation for next day/same day deliveries
• Keeping the inside & outside dock areas & the depot floor clean, neat and tidy at all times & to embrace a high standard of housekeeping.
• Keeping the site secure whilst at work, and when finishing work
