Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a reliable Driver to join the Transport team in Dunedin. You will ensure safe, timely transport for staff, patients and goods across hospital services, contributing to smooth operations of Dunedin Hospital.

You will work closely with the Transport team, manage mail and equipment deliveries, and provide a responsive transport service with discretion and professionalism.

You will play an important part in keeping essential hospital services running smoothly by ensuring people, mail, parcels and equipment get to where they need to be, when they need to be.

You will be responsible for:

• Providing safe and timely transport for staff, patients and goods.
• Collecting and delivering mail, parcels and equipment to the correct destination.
• Providing a responsive and reliable transport service.
• Working closely with the Transport team and hospital staff.
• Undertaking other duties as requested by the Transport Team Leader.

You will be a dependable and adaptable person who takes pride in providing excellent customer service. You will be comfortable working independently while also being a valued member of a busy team.
