As the Senior Transport & Travel Coordinator, you will provide day-to-day guidance and oversight to the Transport Administration team. You will coordinate transport, travel, and fleet administration services to ensure efficient, customer-focused operations that support staff and services across the region.
This role is predominantly based at Wellington Regional Hospital. There will also be occasions where you will work from Hutt Hospital and Kenepuru Hospital to support service delivery across the district.
The salary band for this role is $71,196 - $81,600, depending on experience.

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive professional with proven experience in coordinating complex administrative operations and supporting service delivery in a fast-paced environment. To be successful in this role, you will bring:
At least two years' experience in a senior administration, coordinator, or similar role with responsibility for overseeing workloads, priorities, and day-to-day operations. Ideally you will have had experience leading a team.
Proven leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate teams, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling you to build effective relationships with staff, suppliers, and service users across the organisation.
Advanced Microsoft Office capability, particularly in Excel, with confidence in maintaining records, producing reports, and managing administrative systems.
A full New Zealand Class 1 driver's licence and the ability to drive manual vehicles, with flexibility to work across Wellington, Hutt, and Kenepuru Hospital sites as required.
