Job summary

Roading and Building Recruitment is seeking a motivated Drainage Labourer for Queenstown and the greater Otago Region. You will perform civil drainage work, stormwater and water main infrastructure, and residential/commercial Drainlaying, with opportunities to gain qualifications and develop your career in New Zealand infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Full Class 1 driving licence is required; class 2/4 preferred.
• Experience working around drainage sites and machinery is essential.
• Strong safety and quality focus is expected.
• Reliable team member who is willing to get stuck in.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Candidates must have the right to work in New Zealand.

Being a motivated Drainage Labourer, we want you to come in and hit the ground running! This role will see you undertaking a variety civil drainage work, stormwater & water main infrastructure and residential/commercial Drainlaying, with a vision to gaining your qualifications in this essential trade.

YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

• Full Class 1 drivers licence (class 2/4 preferred)
• Current WTR endorsements would be beneficial, but not essential
• Competent labourer with experience working in and around drainage sites and machinery
• Reliable team member who's willing to get stuck in
• Strong safety and quality focus
• Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Have full working rights to work in New Zealand, ideally living in OR in the process of relocating to the Central Otago Region (No sponsorship available)
