Job summary

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications for drainage layouts.
• Install below-ground drainage, sewerage, and stormwater pipes and fittings.
• Excavate, prepare, and support trenches for drainage work.
• Lay, connect, test, and maintain drainage pipes and disposal systems.
• Install pumping equipment and disposal systems for sewerage/effluent.
• Inspect systems for blockages, leaks, defects, or maintenance needs.
• Repair or replace damaged drainage components and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain records and follow health and safety procedures.
