Job summary

Quantum Staffing Solutions in Dunedin, South Island, is seeking a qualified and experienced Utility Arborist to join our high-performing utilities team. You will maintain vegetation around electrical networks, pruning and rigging near live assets, using safe practices to support reliable power delivery.

You'll work across urban, rural, and off-road sites with MEWPs and standard equipment, contribute to safety and environmental standards, and have opportunities for career growth in New Zealand's

Qualifications

• Two years' experience as a Utility Arborist or equivalent.
• NZQA Level 3 Arboriculture qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience operating Elevated Work Platforms (EWPs/MEWPs) near electrical infrastructure.
• Strong commitment to health and safety standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A minimum of two years' experience as a Utility Arborist.
• NZQA Level 3 Arboriculture qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience operating Elevated Work Platforms (EWPs/MEWPs) around electrical infrastructure.
• Climbing experience within the arboriculture industry.
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A high level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail.
• An environmentally responsible approach to vegetation management.

Additional Requirements

• New Zealand Residency, Citizenship, or a valid New Zealand Work Visa.
