Job summary

The Warehouse Alexandra is hiring a Shopfloor Team Member to join our busy store. Full-time permanent role with weekend shifts, helping customers, restocking shelves and keeping areas clean to high standards.

You’ll work as part of a friendly team, provide great service, handle online order picking if required, and enjoy team discounts and paid leave benefits. NZ residency or valid work visa required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting.
• Strong communication and a positive attitude.

Hours of work:

• Sunday, Monday &Tuesday: 9:00am - 6:00pm
• Thursday:1:00pm - 9:00pm

We're looking for team to join us in the journey of providing bargains,championing sustainability and participating in local public good initiatives!

You will thrive in our fast-paced envrionment and have a strong work ethic to get the job done without compromising service standards. Success is a team effort, whether it be restocking shelves, cleaning areas of the store, or providing excellent customer service.

If your store contains an online fulfillment function, you will also ensure online orders are efficiently picked from the shelves and packed and ensure that the picking shelf processes are followed correctly to maximize shelf availability.

All applicants for this position should have either NZ residency or a valid NZ work Visa.

Experience in a customer-facing role, such as retail or hospitality, would be beneficial, but it’s not a requirement. Ideally you will have good communication skills and a positive attitude, along with a willingness to learn. You should be comfortable standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, and undertaking some heavy lifting
