Job summary

Chemist Warehouse Cameron Road in Tauranga is seeking a motivated full-time Dispensary Technician with Level 4 or 5 Pharmacy Technician qualification to join our team.

You will assist customers with prescriptions, support pharmacists in dispensing, counsel on medications, manage stock, and keep customer files up to date in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified pharmacy technician with Level 4 or 5 qualification.
• Dispensary experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with prescriptions and general enquiries.
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications.
• Counsel customers about medications.
• Dispensary stock management and replenishment.

The Opportunity

Chemist Warehouse Cameron Road is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Full-Time Dispensary Technician! This position is for a qualified technician with a level 4 or 5 Pharmacy Technician qualification.

Job Responsibilities

Assist customers with their prescription and general enquiries

Assist Pharmacists in dispensing medications

Counselling customers about medications

Dispensary stock management and replenishment

Updating customer files and other administrative tasks

Skills

Dedicated work ethic and a strong team player

Experience working in the dispensary

Strong interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills

Certifications

Dispensary Assistant Qualificationas a minimum

Physical Requirements

Repeat the same movements
