Job summary

Chemist Warehouse Palmerston North is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Full-Time Dispensary Technician. This position is for a qualified technician with a level 4 or 5 Pharmacy Technician qualification.

Qualifications

• Assist Pharmacists in dispensing medications.
• Counselling customers about medications.

The Opportunity

Chemist Warehouse Palmerston North is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Full-Time Dispensary Technician! This position is for a qualified technician with a level 4 or 5 Pharmacy Technician qualification.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist customers with their prescription and general enquiries
• Assist Pharmacists in dispensing medications
• Counselling customers about medications
• Dispensary stock management and replenishment
• Updating customer files and other administrative tasks

Skills

• Dedicated work ethic and a strong team player
• Experience working in the dispensary
• Strong interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills

Certifications

Dispensary Assistant Qualification as a minimum

Physical Requirements

• Repeat the same movements
• Stand for long periods of time
• Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls

The successful applicant will be required to meet a satisfactory National Criminal History Check outcome.
