Job summary

Chemist Warehouse Rotorua is actively seeking a Full-Time Dispensary Technician to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified technician with a level 4 or 5 Pharmacy Technician qualification who is motivated and passionate about providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include assisting customers with prescriptions, dispensing medications alongside Pharmacists, and managing dispensary stock.

Qualifications

• Qualified technician with a level 4 or 5 Pharmacy Technician qualification.
• Experience working in the dispensary is required.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

Chemist Warehouse Rotorua is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Full-Time Dispensary Technician! This position is for a qualified technician with a level 4 or 5 Pharmacy Technician qualification.

Job Responsibilities

Assist customers with their prescription and general enquiries

Assist Pharmacists in dispensing medications

Counselling customers about medications

Dispensary stock management and replenishment

Updating customer files and other administrative tasks

Skills

Dedicated work ethic and a strong team player

Experience working in the dispensary

Strong interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills

Certifications

Dispensary Assistant Qualificationas a minimum

Physical Requirements

Repeat the same movements

Stand for long periods of time

Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls

The successful applicant will be required to meet a satisfactory National Criminal History Check outcome.
